| This update comes to you from Deltaville, Virginia ...or more specifically, the Deltaville Dockside Inn since the boat is on the hard and therefore unable to produce air conditioning. So we live here while we tackle the list of boat projects to accomplish in preparation for our cross-Atlantic transit June '11. |

| Dear Family and Friends, We're Back! ... just about 7 months after the most recent update. We took a break from updating the website after the now infamous Computer Glitch which we went through with Dell concerning AB's computer. We have only recently completed the re-installation of all her programs on the "new" computer they sent her to replace the one they fixed and then lost - including the program to maintain this site. We have also resolved that, since we want to focus on completing our numerous boat projects, updates to the site will only occur about once a month - maybe twice - IF we engage in some truly interesting activities! Some of you already know that we had planned to cross the Atlantic this past June - that being the generally accepted best time to cross. However, we reluctantly decided we didn't have enough time to get the things done for the trip much less the hoped for 2-3 years in the Med so we delayed the crossing until June 2011. With an unexpected year on our hands, we took a 5 week road trip to/from the west coast visiting family/friends & doing some sightseeing along the way. We even got 3 items scratched off our Bucket List! Intending to depart D'ville NLT the Annapolis Boat Show; we want to use a Fall/Winter 2010 transit to/from the Exumas in The Bahamas as a "shakedown cruise" for systems we've had installed for next year's crossing.
