| 26 Feb - 11 Mar: Regatta events began on 28 Feb - what fun! Great to finally meet Chris Parker & personally & personally witness the super fun Coconut Challenge! We departed witness the super fun Coconut Challenge! a week later vowing to participate in more of the events next time - whenever that is! We transited from Exuma Sound westward to the Exuma Banks via Dotham Cut at around low tide; anchoring for the night in nearby Blackpoint anchorage. Got to Highbourne Cay Marina to refuel and rewater discovering a slow fuel leak on the same day. We also saw their "pet" stingray and nurse shark. Crossed the infamous Yellow Bank; changing course only twice to avoid coral heads. Arrived Nassau 3/10 where we will sit out some weather and look for a more permanent fix to the leak than tape before transiting north to Jacksonville, FL. |
